‘No More Red’
On Sunday, across our men’s and women’s matches, the club is proud to be marking the fourth year of No More Red, with a focus on providing safe spaces for young people in North London and championing community role models. As part of bringing this campaign to life and help shine a light on the work the club does in partnership with adidas, the players will once again wear the iconic white shirt.
Amongst the guests on Sunday at Emirates Stadium, the ckub will be hosting a number of beneficiaries from community projects, community role models, charities and organisations who partner with No More Red such as the Ben Kinsella Trust, Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation and St Giles Trust amongst many others.
Seating allocation and empty seats
In terms of ticketing at the men’s game, FA Cup rules state that visiting teams are eligible for up to 15% of the home stadium capacity (equating to 9,000 at Emirates Stadium). The clkub says it’s held extensive discussions with its Safety Advisory Group, The FA, Manchester United and other relevant authorities. As a result, Manchester United will receive c.8,000 tickets in the lower tier which represents 13.26% of capacity. The upper tier is not available to away supporters on this occasion given safety concerns around persistent standing.
The club says it is unable to sell these seats to Arsenal supporters, so has discussed with Manchester United a proposal to distribute these 1,000 tickets to community workers and emergency services teams. If this plan does not go ahead, the seats will remain empty.
Ballot success
The ballot success rates for the FA Cup match on Sunday is 70% for Silver Members, 21% for Red Members and 15% for Disability Access. This information is available on the club’s ticketing pages.
