We recently conducted a survey on issues around the cub that concerned you. One question we asked was who would you like commemorated by a new statue outside the stadium if the club decided to make one. We should say that we have no indication that they are thinking of adding one, but we thought we’d ask anyway!
The above word cloud shows you the responses we had – the big font size showing the two that had the most votes.
Interestingly, two of the names suggested already have statues – Arsene Wenger and (Herbert) Chapman – and more about him very soon – watch these pages. But as the Chapman statue was the first – and its existence was instigated by an AISA campaign, and the Arsene one was much celebrated when it was installed in 2023, we were a bit taken aback and assume some of our members haven’t been able to make it the the Emirates recently or explored the whole ‘podium’ around it. For those who’ve missed them, here they are.
