Michel Arteta has acknowledged the role of the away supporters at Anfield, saying, “The fans that travelled today made an incredible noise and put a real game there to try and get into a final.” Well done all who were there and encouraging a defensive display reminiscent of the recent past!
Meanwhile, if you’re going to White Hart Lane on Sunday, the club has highlighted to us some important information from our opponents. Headlines are:
The Away allocation is now at the North East side of the stadium. Turnstile 11. Entrance will be via Worcester Avenue. The nearest station is actually Tottenham Hale (though it does not have step-free access).
Bag and Covid checks will be done at an airport-style search area. All supporters should be reminded that they must have either proof of a negative LFT or covid vaccine passport as there will be random checks. No proof or passport, no entry.
General admission opens 2 hours prior to kick off. Bars and food outlets will be open. And the plea – as at the Emirates – is to arrive early.
