The Premier League clubs have voted to keep VA, whilst seeking to improve it with the introduction of semi-automated offsides, better supporter communication and high thresholds for intervention. Assuming no one clubs complains that this should be overturned because of the tyranny of the majority, that is. It fits broadly into what you’ve been telling us – but as the FSA statement makes clear, the improvements are sorely needed.
