While the team is self-combusting on the road, at home, members/season ticket holders need to check their membership details.
As of Wednesday Novermber 6, your log in will be email and password – the membership number is no longer required or relevant. The idea is that it brings all the various elements of memberships under one log in. That includes arsenal.com, the Arsenal app, Arsenal Direct and Online Box Office accounts.
In theory this seems a good thing. Trouble is, and rather disappointingly, even though groups like AISA were told this was in the offing, we’ve not been able to gave a chance to see how it works. It might be brilliant. But you know what tech changes can be like. We hope it’s been thoroughly and properly tested for all eventualities.
So all we can say is to follow the instructions: check your email is up to date. If you’ve not received a message from the club alerting you, it probably means it’s not up to date and you need to log in the old way NOW and change it. Then you’ll need to set yourself up with a password after Wednesday.
To repeat, here’s what we’ve been told:
- Before Wednesday, we’re encouraging all members to check their email address is up to date.
- On Wednesday, all members will be signed out of all Arsenal platforms, and asked to reset their password to log in to their account.
- Those with multiple memberships will be prompted to assign each of them to an email address.
- Bespoke communications will be sent to Junior Gunner accounts with some added instructions.
We have also prepared a step-by-step video guide, which will be available from Monday on our help page.
Let us know your thoughts, as we’ve been asked to pass on any comments. Message below or email us.
not received an email about this but I have checked my account details as advised above & my email address is as it should be (it hasn’t changed so no idea where email has gone to).
We’ll see what happens on Wednesday
