The club has asked us to remind supporters about the restrictions on entering the stadium for the Leeds Carabao Cup match, concerned that many people will be arriving from work and there will be a last-minute crush.
The security arrangements with its limit on bag size (A4 equivalent) inevitably delay entry, and the club is particularly concerned that this is a match where people often come with printed tickets (or are new to the stadium) rather than with season tickets, and this can further slow down entry.
Of course, if you’re coming straight from work – and with the vagueries of the transport system – it’s not always possible to arrive early. But if you can, the recommendation is not to leave it until the last minute (apparently, the match-day beer offer is in place again once you’re in) ideally arriving 60-90 minutes before kick-off.
