The club has written to us, asking to pass on this news about the Real Madrid match on Tuesday:
‘We’re encouraging our supporters to arrive at the stadium early, where you can enjoy a beer or cider on us through our “buy one, get one on us” offer for the first hour after turnstiles open, across GA and Club Level.
There will be a special light show within 10 minutes before kick, followed by a full stadium display across every home seat to create a powerful red and white display. Each seat will have a recyclable display bag that supporters who are able will be asked to lift above their heads to bring the display together as our players walk out of the tunnel. We encourage our supporters to take the bag home. However if they don’t, the bags are fully recyclable, and we have created an additional recycling stream within the stadium to repurpose these swiftly after the match.
We ask supporters to be at their seat to drive the best possible atmosphere ahead of kick off and throughout the game and take your seats ready for the second half to kick off after the half-time break.
In addition to our full stadium display, two large tifo banners, both of which are supporter-led, will be unveiled in the East Stand and in the Clock End.
As you will know, demand for tickets has been extraordinarily high. Please join us in reminding all supporters to avoid purchasing tickets from touts, unauthorised third-party websites or social media. You can read more about our action against touting, unauthorised re-sale and what you can do to support here.’
So there you go! See you on Gabriel-less Tuesday!
