Our thanks to Adrian and Roy for a fascinating insight into life at the academy. One of the things we learnt was that managing a group fo schoolboys, all hoping to be the next Henry or Adams, often ended in tears. Although there was one notable exception, when the parents were relieved! Roy’s tells it all – including how he waved goodbye to Harry Kane – in his book ‘A life in football’, available in bookshops and online.
