Arsenal launches Block by Block, its largest-ever supporter consultation to shape Arsenal Women’s next chapter

Arsenal has committed to the largest supporter-led consultation
project in its women’s team history, Block by Block.

More than 150 supporters have already joined six consultations, designed to innovate and shape
new elements of the Emirates Stadium matchday experience and visual identity.
A further five consultations are planned this season, each taking place ahead of the team’s
Barclays WSL home matches, all 11 of which are being played in N5 for the first time in the club’s
history.
With a record 17,000 seasonal members, including the club’s first generation of Emirates
Stadium season ticket holders, Block by Block is designed to give supporters a significant role
and voice in shaping Emirates Stadium as its home for Arsenal Women.
Each consultation brings together supporters from different blocks with Arsenal representatives
and is led by an Arsenal-supporting artist or creator who brings the ideas to life.
Together, supporters have created iconic flag displays, a large-scale hand-stitched tifo, new
matchday music sets, and created a hand-painted mural in Block 26 in memory of lifelong
Arsenal supporter Maria Petri.
First-team players have also played their part in the creations so far, including new signing Olivia
Smith who recently joined supporters to discuss music and live stadium experiences that drive
energy on a matchday.
The project follows recent seasons of rapid growth in attendances for the women’s team,
including sell-outs and a peak crowd of nearly 57,000 this season. Block by Block represents a
commitment to building deeper connections with supporters as the women’s game continues to
rise.
The club will ontinue to keep us updated as further consultations and creations take shape,
