BACK OF THE NET ZERO

The club has announced that it has become the only football club in the world to have a net-zero target approved by the globally respected Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Supporters are a crucial part of the plan to reach our net-zero target by 2040, and actions will include encouraging supporters to make sustainable choices and promoting more sustainable travel options. The club will, it says, continue using its platform to educate, lift voices and inspire action across our communities in Islington and around the world.

AISA is a member of the group that is part of the supporter forum that is helping lead this initiative.

We will be involved in a number of events in the coming weeks, including one where the club is partnering with Google, Microlink, and London Met University on a special event at Emirates Stadium focused on accessibility and inclusion for people living with disabilities. The event will be focused on bringing together local partners, employers and the local community to share experiences and knowledge, with the broader aim of improving accessibility for disabled people across Islington and wider society.
