We wanted to ensure you and your members are aware of industrial action that will cause disruption to London Underground services after our FA Cup Third Round fixture against Liverpool at Emirates Stadium this Sunday, 7 January.
No services are expected to be disrupted before kick-off, but Tube services will be reduced from 17.00, with no Piccadilly line service running after the game and other nearby Tube services finishing by 20:00.
London Overground, Elizabeth Line, National Rail, and Bus services are not on strike, but some services will be busier than normal and may be affected by station closures on London Underground lines.
There will also be no National Rail services at Finsbury Park on lines travelling between Kings Cross/Moorgate and Peterborough/Letchworth via Stevenage/Hertford North. This is due to planned works as part of the East Coast Digital Programme.
After the final whistle, supporters travelling on the London Underground are advised to leave promptly and complete their journey by 20:00.
To ensure people are able to exit Emirates Stadium safely and efficiently after the final whistle, we have also made the following alterations to our stadium operations which will be in effect on Sunday:
· All general admission bars will shut at 75 minutes
· All premium bars will shut at 19.00
· Emirates Stadium will close at 19.30
We will be communicating this to all ticketholders ahead of the match, and strongly encourage all those attending Emirates Stadium on Sunday to plan their travel in advance.
We will continue to liaise with Transport for London, the Metropolitan Police and the London Borough of Islington, and will provide further updates if there are significant changes.
Supporters can find more information on the strikes, and information on planning their journey, at www.tfl.gov.uk/strikes.
Thanks for the comprehensive information. It will help me greatly.
Thank you
