DECEMBER NEWS – AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION

ARE YOU STILL HAVING TROUBLE WITH YOUR SINGLE SIGN ON? VERY IMPORTANT!!

The club has acknowledged that the recent roll out of single sign on has created some issues for some fans. They have offered to assist any AISA members who still have issues with their membership account as a priority.

If you are still having issues accessing your account(s) please email back to this address ([email protected]) with your name, membership details (email and membership number), contact telephone number and a brief description of your problem and we will escalate with the club.

AISA WHATSAPP

We have created a WhatsApp group for AISA members. We can communicate more quickly than email, and it’s a chance for you to feedback to us as well. We need your phone number to invite you. Please come back to us (again – [email protected]) with your phone contact details and we’ll invite you to join us.

MESSAGE ROM OUR NEW CHAIR, DREW GRAY

Hello everyone.

First, I want to say how delighted to be elected as Chair once again, I think AISA is well positioned with the club, within the AAB (Arsenal Advisory Board), and better connected than ever to the FSA (Football Supporters’ Association). So, I’m very confident we can continue our work holding the club to account and pushing for the things that matter to you.

With that in mind do look out for more emails over the next months or so which will have surveys asking for your thoughts on what we should be doing. What do you feel about the Football Regulation bill, the Stop Exploiting Loyalty and Save Our Seniors campaigns, or possible stadium expansion?

Who do you want to see or hear from at AISA events?  What sort of events do you like? We have ideas but we want to hear from you. How representative is AISA and how can we be better? And the Whatsapp group

We’ve got a new committee member in Kate, who is now in charge of our social media. If you use Instagram etc. you’ll hopefully have noticed how much better our ‘socials’ are and if you haven’t then go have a look. AISA is still on Facebook, but also on Instagram (aisa_arsenal) BlueSky (@aisa-arsenal.bsky.social) so do give us a follow. Plus aisa.org is live with news and updates, including the members’ page (aisa.org//members). Any problems getting into any f these, please come back to us on [email protected]

AISA members have been volunteering at the Arsenal In The Community/Islington foodbank near the Tony Adams statue throughout this season. Here it is with its shiny new sign (left)! It’s not just cans and cartons we are after; we also welcome donations in cash or from cards –  we took a record £1620 before the Everton game. This really makes a difference to those in need locally and I’m proud AISA is involved. I think we could do more for the Islington Foodbank and for Willow and the Kevin Campbell Foundation, so if you’ve got ideas, skills, or charity experience and want to get involved, again let us know.

On the football front (which is why we’re all here!) it’s been a mixed season so far: undefeated at home but not really hitting the heights of last season. Lots of niggling injuries have meant a fractured team that doesn’t look as solid at the back or as potent up front, and Liverpool deciding to look almost invincible really wasn’t on my Christmas list. Let’s hope they hit a wall soon. At least Jesus has found some form at last. And we will always be able to look down the road and remind ourselves how fortunate we are not to be Totteringham.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all Gooners everywhere!
